Kim Craft received Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in music composition from the School of Music, DePaul University, and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Illinois-Chicago. She also holds a Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache and coursework leading to the Diplom Wirtschaftdeutsch (Economics & Foreign Policy) from the Goethe Institut in Munich, Germany.  Most recently, she studied electrical engineering at the Fulton Schools of Engineering, Arizona State University.  She holds a second bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Southern New Hampshire University as well as finishing a M.S. in Mathematics from Indiana State University.  Kim has also studied Analytics in the graduate program at Georgia Tech.

Kim served on the Intellectual Property Committee of the Chicago Bar Association.  She has authored a number of works, including, The Webcasting Revolution is About to Begin as Soon as We Figure Out the Copyright Law (Hastings Journal of Communication & Entertainment Law), and the books, Music Copyright & Publishing (McGraw Hill), and Technological Trends & Developments in the Music Business.  She has taught classes on intellectual property and business law for DePaul University, Florida A&M College of Law, and Valparaiso University, among others.  Kim served as the Executive Production Editor for the JMLS Journal of Computer and Information Law, Vice President of Rhaeticus Press, Inc., and Vice President of Interlinear Dynamics, LLC.  She is currently the Operations Director at Frequency 3 Media, LLC, and a past member of the Society for Technical Communication and IEEE.
